If you’re looking for famous bread in Seoul with a touch of K-pop culture,
Tartine Bakery Itaewon is a great place to visit.
Tartine originally started in San Francisco
it is considered one of the most famous bakeries in the world.
In Seoul, the brand has become a trendy brunch and bakery destination.
What makes the Itaewon branch especially interesting is its location.
The bakery is located in the same building as THEBLACKLABEL,
a K-pop agency known for artists like Rosé (BLACKPINK)
,All day project, and actor Park Bo-gum.
Because of this connection, many K-pop fans and visitors are curious
to see the building while enjoying coffee or brunch
Important Note:
Itaewon Branch vs Hannam Branch
There are two Tartine locations in this area,
and many visitors confuse them.
- Tartine Bakery Hannam – Hannamding near Mistic entertainment
- Tartine Bakery Itaewon – the branch inside the THEBLACKLABEL building
This review is about Tartine Bakery Itaewon

Both bakeries are close to each other,
but the Itaewon branch feels more spacious and modern,
with a strong connection to the K-culture scene nearby.

The Atmosphere
Where K-Culture Meets Brunch
Tartine Bakery Itaewon feels different depending on the time of day.
Morning
In the morning, the space feels calm and relaxed.
Near the large sliding doors, there are hammock-style chairs
where many foreign visitors sit with coffee and books.
It feels almost like a small urban retreat in the middle of the city.

Natural sunlight fills the room, making it a comfortable place
for a slow breakfast or quiet reading time.
Afternoon
During the afternoon, the bakery becomes a lively brunch café.
Visitors from nearby neighborhoods stop by for sourdough sandwiches,
pastries, and coffee.

Evening
In the evening, the atmosphere changes again.
Many visitors arrive after shopping in Itaewon and Hannam,
often carrying bags from popular Korean brands such as Mardi Mercredi
,Openyy or Blue elephant
Some people come for pizza and wine,
turning the bakery into a relaxed dinner spot rather than just a café.
Tartine Bakery Itaewon Menu
– What to Order
Savory & Dinner menu
1. Savory Menu

The menu includes a variety of sandwiches, soups, and brunch plates.
Some sandwiches are served directly from the bread case,
while others are freshly prepared in the open kitchen and usually take about 10 minutes.

Tartine is famous for its sourdough bread, pastries (5,000~15,000 won)

2. Dinner Menu

Evening Transformation
– Pizza and Wine
As the sun sets, Tartine Bakery Itaewon becomes a more relaxed evening spot.
They serve artisanal pizzas, meatballs, and wine,
making it a good place for a casual dinner.
If you want a lively but comfortable atmosphere
without the loud nightlife of Itaewon bars, this can be a great option.

If you want a “vibey” evening without spending too much,
look for their Pizza & Wine pairing promotions.

What I Ordered
Brunch Platter (21,800 won)
A classic brunch plate with sausages, bread, butter, and cheese. The ingredients feel high quality and satisfying.
Burrata Tomato Soup (10.900 won)
Rich and comforting. It pairs very well with Tartine’s sourdough bread.
Chicken Herb Salad (16.800 won)
Fresh and balanced, although the portion of chicken felt slightly smaller compared to the Hannam branch.

Grilled Cheese Bulgogi Sandwich (16.800 won)
This was my favorite dish. The sandwich is quite large,
with three layers of bread and sweet-savory Korean bulgogi beef inside.
If you have a small appetite, sharing is a good idea.

Hot pepperoni pizza (27.000 won)
For truly authentic pizza, I would recommend Buzza Pizza or A-tta Pizza nearby.
However, for the overall atmosphere, reasonable prices,
and the chance of spotting artists from THEBLACKLABEL,
Tartine is hard to beat.
